Dr. Brandon Herron graduated from Colorado State University in 2011 and is a partner at Village Veterinary Hospital. He enjoys working with both small and large animals, focusing on surgery and preventive care. Outside work, he loves the outdoors with his family and many pets.

Dr. Michael McCallister, a New Mexico native, earned his DVM from Kansas State University in 1984. Founder of Village Veterinary Hospital, he's dedicated to honest, high-quality care for animals and their owners. He enjoys rodeo, hunting, boating, and time with his family, horse, and boxer.

Dr. Larisa Estrada, originally from Reserve, NM, earned her Animal Science degree from NMSU and her DVM from Washington State University in 2021. She lives in Bosque Farms with her son and two dogs, enjoying outdoor adventures and serving her community at Village Veterinary Hospital.

Denali joined Village Veterinary Hospital in October 2024 after graduating from Valencia High School. Originally from the Bay Area, she moved to New Mexico to be near family. She loves animals, the outdoors, and her cat, Keenai, and enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and exploring new experiences.

Claryssa joined Village Veterinary Hospital in May 2025. A Pima Medical Institute graduate, she's been dedicated to animal care since 2016. Outside work, she enjoys adventures with her son and time with her cat and lively Mini French Bulldog.

Sandy McCallister is the Practice Manager of Village Veterinary Hospital, which she started with her husband, Dr. Mike McCallister, in 1987. With a Business degree from NMSU, she's proud of her family, staff, and the close-knit "Village Veterinary Family" they've built.

Celina is the Assistant Practice Manager at Village Veterinary Hospital, joining in 2022. She loves connecting with clients and their pets. Living in Bosque Farms with her young son and three dogs, she enjoys outdoor adventures and values working close to home and family.

Hello, my name is Phedra. I have worked for Village Veterinary Hospital since 2006. I enjoy my job as a front desk receptionist. It is a rewarding job meeting new clients with their pets, as well as taking care of our long-time clients and their pets.

Mia is the enthusiastic receptionist at Village Veterinary Hospital since February 2023, who moved from Arizona to New Mexico in 2022 and loves seeing adorable animals, traveling, drawing, and reading in her free time.
